I am a Youth and Teen Services Librarian. I have created and run many library programs, including our graphic novel book club, Junior Justice League, & Caldecott Club. I have worked with other libraries to host many collaborative virtual author visits. I have created hundreds of take home kits. I have worked as a middle school and high school teacher, teachers’ center facilitator, and curriculum developer. I moderate social media for the 90-Second Newbery Film Festival. I have served on the 2015 Newbery Committee and the 2018 Odyssey Award Selection Committee. I have also been a member of the Caudill Evaluator's Committee and Nominating Committee.

I have previously run a book blog that offered reviews of Newbery winners and other books, write-ups of library programs, and other library-related musings. (You can see more here.) I am working to transfer the evergreen posts to this blog, as well as a other writing I have done. I hope it will also serve as an archive of projects I have done over the years - a necessary way to recognize the important work we do in this field. I hope that it will also be a resource for other library staff. I am happy to share resources I’ve created as requested. Feel free to use my blog posts/book lists/programs if they are helpful. Feel free to connect with me on social media.

Please note that this is a personal blog that I maintain on my own time, and does not reflect the opinions or views of my employer.
